WHAT IS THE VENUE CAPACITY?

  • Wedding ceremonies: 70 guests
  • Formal dining: 70 guests
  • Relaxed dining: 100 guests
  • Parties and drinks receptions: 150 guests

 

WHAT ACCOMMODATION IS INCLUDED?

The use of our campsite and shower facilities is included in venue hire. The campsite is yours to use as you wish, so feel free to bring your own tipi or glamping setup. Campers and caravans are also welcome. If you don’t want to camp, our self-catering Laundry Cottage is available at an extra charge for the day before and evening of your event. A lunch menu is available at an extra cost.

 

DOES THE HALL BARNS HAVE DISABLED FACILITIES?

Yes, this venue has disabled access and facilities that can accommodate wheelchair users. 

 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BAR AND THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE BAR?

The bar is the central spot for your guests to grab a drink, and is fully stocked with everything you need. The Slaughterhouse Bar is a space for the fun extras you can arrange with us before the event, like a champagne bar or cocktail hour.

 

DO YOU OFFER ANY QUIRKY OPTIONS FOR EVENING BUFFETS?

We’ll work with you to create bespoke menus, and we can make just about anything happen when it comes to food. From a vintage ice cream trike, to a loaded crêpe station or woodfired pizza with DIY toppings, just ask and we’ll happily put something together for you.

 

WHAT IS SEMI-DRY HIRE?

If our incredible menus don’t take your fancy, you can opt for semi-dry hire, which allows you to bring your own catering. Whoever provides your food, the drinks and alcohol behind the bar are managed in-house by The Hall Barns.

 

CAN WE USE OUR OWN SUPPLIERS?

Yes, absolutely. It’s your event, and we want everything to be perfect. We have a list of incredible suppliers that we’re happy to recommend, but feel free to bring whoever you’d like. We offer semi-dry hire, so you can bring your own catering, but booze and drinks will be taken care of in-house by The Hall Barns.

 

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT FOR WEDDINGS?

We can reserve a date for 7 days without a deposit required. If you choose to go ahead with the booking, we’ll sort out the paperwork and you’ll need to pay a £2,500 deposit (non-refundable) to secure the booking.

 

HOW MUCH DOES A WEDDING AT THE HALL BARNS COST?

Each wedding is completely unique, and we cater to a variety of budgets and bespoke requests. Our average wedding costs around £10,000 for venue hire, food and drink packages, and other additional services.
