Our awesome bride and groom Sophie and Wesley brought all the good vibes for their July wedding at The Hall Barns. Filling the day with fun, personality and some epic dance moves, it was an amazing botanical theme wedding captured perfectly by Big Day Productions.

Our super-stylish bride

Sophie decided to book Laundry Cottage for the morning of her big day. Our idyllic three-bed country cottage is less than a minute’s walk from The Hall Barns. It’s perfect for getting ready for your wedding in style, with no need to stress about getting to the venue. There was plenty of space for Sophie and her bridesmaids to chill out and get ready before the ceremony.

Our gorgeous bride looked absolute next level wearing her illusion lace wedding dress complete with a stunning lace-edged train. Sophie paired the dress with a cathedral-length veil and oversized bouquet of white flowers. Wearing her long dark hair in loose waves, she nailed the modern glamour look.

We love how Sophie switched things up in the evening. She changed into the cutest bridal mini dress and block heels for the party.

The bridesmaids matched the English country garden vibe in pale sage green, maxi length tea dresses, while Wesley looked fantastic in his 3-piece suit.

The dreamy wedding ceremony

Sophie and Wesley fell in love with the Crew Yard, The Hall Barn’s beautiful, covered courtyard packed with character. It’s such a cool ceremony space, with rustic wooden floors, original features and brickwork adding to its charm.

Dressed with twinkling fairy lights wrapped around the wooden beams, classic floral displays in green and white, and a beautiful green foliage centrepiece for the aisle, the Crew Yard was the most romantic of settings for Sophie and Wesley to exchange their vows. Perfect for channeling the couple’s botanical theme wedding look.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to help themselves to glasses of champagne displayed on the antique cart, or bottles of beer on ice. Everyone headed to The Hall Barn’s idyllic outdoor space, chilling out under the stretch tent as the sun shone.

Botanical theme wedding style inspo

With so many guests to accommodate, Sophie and Wesley made use of both the Parlour and the Crew Yard for their wedding breakfast. Both spaces were filled with long tables, decorated with woven raffia placemats, tall white candles and simple floral posies in clear vases. Matched with sage green chairs, the overall look tapped into the botanical trend. It worked perfectly with The Hall Barns’ rustic chic vibe.

Making it their own

It’s your wedding, and we want you to fill it with all the unique touches that show off your style. And that’s exactly what Sophie and Wesley did. From a DIY Glitter Bar, where guests could add some serious sparkle to their wedding look (obsessed!), to bride and groom shots, and relaxing around The Hall Barns’ fire pits, it was a day packed with personality.

How cool is this camper van photo booth? It was a massive hit with Sophie and Wesley’s guests, who got stuck into the props for some epic photos. Cheese!
