The Hall Barns is part of the Prestwold Estate in Leicestershire, tucked away in its own secluded spot surrounded by the most idyllic countryside. The nearest town to our wedding venue is Loughborough, and we’re only a 6-minute taxi ride from the train station. We also have plenty of parking on-site for you and your guests.

We always say, “your day, your way,” and we will do everything we can to help you throw the kind of wedding you’ve always dreamt of. The Hall Barns is an excellent choice for a festival style wedding thanks to the on-site campsite and flexibility when it comes to food and entertainment. We can host your whole day, from civil ceremony to wedding breakfast and evening party, so you and your guests can properly relax and make yourselves at home.
How much does it cost to get married at The Hall Barns?
Obviously, every wedding is unique and at our rural venue there’s lots of scope to personalise your day with extra touches. We’d say the average wedding at The Hall Barns costs around £10,000 for venue hire, food and drink packages, and other additional services.
Our 2025 venue hire prices are between £1,750 and £2,250 in low season (April and October), from £2,250 – £2,750 in mid-season (May, June and September), and between £2,750 – £3,250 in high season (July and August). Click here to find more detailed pricing information.

The Crewyard
Offering a totally unique setting for your wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast or afterparty, The Hall Barns’ Crewyard is a versatile space with bags of charm. Our covered courtyard features antique exposed brickwork, atmospheric wooden rafters and timber floors – we’re talking cool, quirky and Instagram-ready. It’s licensed for civil ceremonies and can be set up with long tables for sociable dining, before being transformed into the most epic dancefloor.
The Parlour
Packed with original features and a classy rustic-chic vibe, the Parlour is our indoor space. Part of our lovingly restored 19th-century barn, it’s a stylish setting for your wedding day feast, speeches, toasts and cake cutting.
The Slaughterhouse Bar
We love this cute little space inside the barn, which provides room for you to fill with cool touches. Whether you fancy setting up a pop-up gin bar or glitter station, this is the place to do it.
Can I get married outside at The Hall Barns?
Of course! If an outdoor wedding is top of your wish list, we’ve got you covered. At The Hall Barns we have loads of outdoor spaces to provide a romantic and secluded backdrop for your celebrant-led service.
What is the capacity for The Hall Barns?
For wedding ceremonies we have a capacity of 70 guests.
When it comes to the wedding breakfast we have options. For formal dining we can fit 70 guests but if you opt for relax dining the capacity fits 100 guests.
Finally, for parties and drinks receptions we can accommodate 150 guests at The Hall Barns.
What food options are there at The Hall Barns?
We take food very seriously at The Hall Barns. Every single wedding deserves outstanding food and ours is off-the-scale awesome, fact. We want you and your guests to rave about the food, and our indulgent sharing feasts or more formal sit-down meals we guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
And, when it comes to refuelling your guests at your evening reception, we love to get creative with chilli dogs, sourdough pizzas or bacon cobs to feed the masses.
If you prefer to work with outside caterers that’s no problem at all; you can book The Hall Barns as semi-dry hire which allows you to bring in your own catering, while we look after the drinks.
Does The Hall Barns have on-site accommodation?
We certainly do. Our cute campsite and fancy shower facilities are included in your venue hire. You can choose to pitch your own tents or opt for our glamping setup, where you can fall asleep in style in our newlyweds suite, with 10 guest pods for your mates.
If camping isn’t your thing, we also have a quaint thatched cottage on-site with room to sleep 6, and maybe a few little ones on extra beds. The Laundry Cottage is just a short stroll from the Barn, so you won’t have to head far to get a good night’s sleep.
