The Hall Barns Wedding Venue
The Hall Barns is one of the more unusual wedding venues in Leicestershire, offering a combination of historic and modern design to create the perfect events venue.
Originally built in 1889 as a model farm to demonstrate good farming practices on the Prestwold Estate, this historic building has been lovingly transformed and given a new lease on life as a multi-purpose event venue. We’ve even got on-site catering and a glamorous bar to keep you and your guests satisfied throughout the day.
The Barn can accommodate up to 70 guests for the ceremony, with room for up to 150 reception guests to party the night away. The Crewyard is our licensed space for civil ceremonies, presenting a spectacular covered courtyard with wooden rafters and timber floors that are simply fabulous.

As part of the Prestwold Estate, encompassing over 2,500 acres of parkland in the heart of the Leicestershire Wolds, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature all around you. The Barn is tucked away in its own secluded spot to create a private haven for you to celebrate with friends and family.

There are a number of barn wedding venues in and around the county, and each of them is unique in its own way, but no other wedding venue in Leicestershire is quite like The Hall Barns.
We carefully renovated this stunning 19th century barn to make it both beautiful and functional while still honouring the history of the space. Although we’ve added a few mod cons to make you and your guests more comfortable, we’ve also retained loads of the original features that give the Barn its charm.
From the wooden rafters and exposed brickwork to the cosy log burner, there’s no shortage of whimsical touches to add character to the Barn’s indoor and outdoor spaces. With a neutral colour scheme and minimal decorations, it’s not hard to imagine the building as it once was over 100 years ago.
