Reece and Megan’s stylish June wedding at The Hall Barns

From the classy tablescapes to the chocolate brownie tower (dreams do come true!) every little detail of Reece and Megan’s June wedding at The Hall Barns was big day perfection. No notes. The morning of the big day
At The Hall Barns we are all about drawing out the big day celebrations as long as humanly possible. Our bride Megan made the most of our on-site accommodation. She hired Laundry Cottage to get ready the morning of her wedding with her family and bridesmaids. Everything from the matching pjs to drinks in the sunshine (in personalised champagne glasses, ofc) helped set a laid-back tone for an epic wedding.
A-lister bridal style
Our bride Megan served up some serious Hollywood A-lister vibes in her stunning wedding dress. Featuring delicate off-the-shoulder straps, her illusion lace, fit and flare gown was red carpet perfection. Paired with a jewel hair slide, tulle veil and her long wavy hair, the overall look was effortless glamour.
Reece looked amazing in his blue three-piece suit, while the couple’s bridesmaids wowed in their one-shouldered soft green gowns. Most stylish wedding party alert.
The sweetest wedding ceremony
Our covered ceremony space, the Crew Yard, provided a romantic and atmospheric setting for Reece and Megan to say their ‘I do’s. It’s a gorgeous space, packed with character thanks to the exposed brickwork and old timber floors, so doesn’t need much in the way of décor. Our bride and groom added interest with two tall white floral displays framing the spot where they exchanged their vows. The aisle was lined with LED candles on mismatched candlesticks, while the chairs were given a subtle makeover with fabric chair ties.
There was not a dry eye in the house during Reece and Megan’s emotional wedding ceremony. And we love that our bride and groom celebrated their official Mr and Mrs status with a shot after the ‘I do’s. Now, that’s the way to get the party started!
Personal touches for the barn reception
It’s obvious how much thought and care Reece and Megan put into styling their June wedding, filling our restored barn with lots of unique personal touches. We love the beautiful display in honour of the people special to our bride and groom, who are no longer with us. Decorating a white step ladder with greenery and framed photos of their loved ones, it felt like the perfect way to remember those close to their hearts.
The Parlour, our unique reception dining space, looked ridiculously pretty all dressed up for the wedding breakfast. Tables were decorated with sage green linen runners, alongside church and tapered candles on golden candlesticks. Simple posies of white flowers, like jasmine, roses and gypsophila, added a sweet touch, while sage green napkins brought the whole look together.
Tables were named after cities special to Reece and Megan, with each featuring a photo of the couple at that destination. Favours were delicate scalloped biscuits, monogramed with the couple’s initials. And the littlest guests were looked after with cute activity bags to keep them occupied during the speeches. Such a great touch.
Eat, drink and say ‘cheese!’
Once the speeches were over, it was time to welcome the evening guests. A fun pop-up photo booth, complete with props, was set up for everyone to enjoy. Guests then stuck photos of themselves into the couple’s guestbook, alongside a handwritten message.
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Reece and Megan chose to have a tower of chocolate brownies. Talk about a crowd-pleaser! How amazing does this look?
Our couple finished off their awesome day dancing the night away to a live band in the Crew Yard. The coolest end to the coolest of weddings. Can we do it all over again?
