Bee and Ali’s summer wedding at The Hall Barns
OK, we’re calling it. Summer is most definitely ALMOST here, so today on the blog we’re serving up the ultimate summer wedding inspo. Our awesome brides Bee and Ali celebrated the coolest of big days at The Hall Barns. Trust us, you’re going to want to Pinterest the lot. From the boho styling to the party-to-end-all-parties, every detail of the cute couple’s wedding was summer perfection.

Dreamy bridal style
We adore Bee and Ali’s bridal style. The brides both channelled a dreamy, ethereal vibe in short-sleeved, tiered lace dresses with relaxed cuts. Floaty, romantic and made for dancing the night away, the couple’s wedding dresses fitting in perfectly with The Hall Barn’s laid-back style. Nailing that boho bride look, Bee and Ali carried matching dried flower and ornamental grass bouquets, tied with ribbon.

The bridesmaids rocked mismatched pink dresses, while the best men followed suit with coordinating pink ties and waistcoats. The bridal party made the most iconic entrance ever, arriving at the ceremony in The Hall Barns’ golf buggies.

The summery ceremony
Bee and Ali said their ‘I do’s under cover at The Crew Yard, The Hall Barn’s quirky ceremony space. The brides embraced the rustic beauty of the venue with simple decorative touches, enhancing the character of the venue. Hanging lengths of gauze and simple foliage swags dressed the wooden beams, adding a romantic, summery feel to the space. The couple shared heartfelt vows in front of their friends and family – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Sob!

Boho reception styling at The Hall Barns
The couple had fallen in love with the idyllic setting of The Hall Barns and the lovingly restored 19th century barn. The Parlour provided the dream setting for Bee and Ali’s stylish wedding breakfast, with bags of character, original features, and knockout views out across the Leicestershire countryside.

Reflecting the natural beauty of the venue, Bee and Ali opted for a botanical meets boho styling for their reception. Tables were dressed with natural, hand-woven placemats, and twinkling tea lights. Large golden-edged glass lanterns housed larger candles on a bed of moss, while fairy lights brought a touch of magic. The couple kept the seating décor simple, with hanging fabric tied with foliage springs adding interest.

Of course, it’s not a wedding without cake and Bee and Ali’s beautiful three-tiered cake was a proper showstopper. Featuring a layer of ombre peach icing and delicate lace detailing, it was crowned with the sweetest ‘Mrs and Mrs Newboult’ cake topper.

Cool evening reception touches
The Hall Barns is made for partying and the couple and their wedding guests brought all the good vibes for the evening celebration. Starting the party with some epic wedding photos – coloured smoke flares are where it’s at FYI – it was time to hit the dance floor.

A live band made sure everyone joined in with the dancing, while wood-fired pizzas and s’mores around the fire pits kept the guests refuelled and up for a party. The coolest end to the coolest of weddings.
