Wild, Rustic Wedding Inspiration at The Hall Barns, Leicestershire

What better setting for a rustic wild wedding than The Hall Barns at Prestwold. Renovated in 2021, The Hall Barns is a quirky new wedding and events venue in the heart of Leicestershire. Before we hosted our first real wedding, we designed a shoot to inspire our couples and launch ourselves into the wedding world as the inclusive, wild and fun-loving brand we are. The day was captured to utter perfection by Sam Bennett Photography.

For gorgeous rustic wedding flowers, there was no other choice than Pickleberry Flowers. The wedding lunch simply stole the show with greenery and cowpasley foraged from nearby woodland and locally grown Icelandic poppies and daisy’s to add a small pop of colour. With French rusty urns, plenty of candles and fabrics from Princess Occasions we created a table meadowscape of dreams.

The rustic wedding cake by Bake Ashbourne used a deep terracotta buttercream with a rough stone finish and touches of gold leaf to capture the amazing light at The Hall Barns. Three off-centre cubes formed the tiers which were dressed with tendrils of ivy to nestle effortlessly into the wild greenery on the tables.

Our stunning brides Gracey & Luci wore dresses and suits designed by Jesus Piero and Susanne Neville, all found in the bridal boutique Frances Day Bridal. The looks were complete with relaxed waved hairstyles by Alison Jenner (and the coolest handmade daisy sunglasses).

Post ceremony celebrations included an epic gin bar created by The Hall Barns complete with signage from Mee and Des Designs. The gin bar was framed with an awesome pastel balloon arch by Adorn Events Co and all the greenery your heart could desire.
