Jade and Grant’s sunny September wedding
This dreamy September wedding at The Hall Barns brought all the good vibes. Our gorgeous bride and groom, Jade and Grant, filled their day with the coolest personal touches – guys, there’s a crisp wall! – to throw an absolutely epic, personality-packed wedding at our cute barn venue. Getting ready at Laundry Cottage
We’re so lucky to have our own self-catering country cottage on-site at The Hall Barns, for our couples to book before and after their wedding. Jade stayed at Laundry Cottage the night before her big day, so she could have a relaxed morning getting ready with her bridesmaids. It’s such a cosy space for chilling out with a glass of champagne while getting your hair and make-up done. Oh, and the garden is the perfect spot for some pre-wedding photos, too.
Jade’s romantic bridal style
We can’t get enough of Jade’s incredible wedding day style. With delicate off the shoulder sleeves, illusion neckline and full tulle skirt, Jade’s daytime wedding dress was giving modern fairytale vibes. The bead embellishment brought a fun touch of sparkle, while her cool embellished headband finished the look to perfection. With her gorgeous, oversized bouquet and that beautiful beaming smile, Jade made the most perfect bride. Switching things up for the evening, Jade changed into a sexy corseted silk dress with off the shoulder sleeves. Such a good party look.
Sticking with the couple’s pinky blush colour scheme, the bridesmaids wore full-length drop shoulder gowns in a stylish shade of dusky pink.
Getting married at The Hall Barns
Our cute couple stole a quiet moment before the ceremony, to read their personal vows to each other in the garden of Laundry Cottage. Then, it was on to our Crew Yard for the official ceremony on front of their friends and family.
The Crew Yard at The Hall Barns is the perfect indoors-but-outdoors ceremony space. Completely covered in case of rain, it’s open on all sides to make the most of that natural daylight. Jade and Grant dressed the space with romantic floral arrangements in pretty pastel shades and twinkling candles in hurricane vases. Each guest was given a bespoke wedding newspaper, telling the story of how the couple met, as well as doubling as a quirky order of the day. We love it all!
Romantic Wild Meadow-Style Wedding Flowers
Flowers really bring a wedding day vision to life, and we adore the wild, natural and whimsical vibes of Jade and Grant’s big day blooms. Floral displays for the ceremony and table settings included a mix of dahlias, cosmos, lisianthus, roses, delphiniums and chrysanthemum in soft blush, pink and baby blue. This romantic, wildflower style looked perfectly at home at our rustic barn venue.

Jade and Grant let the authentic beauty of the Parlour shine through for their wedding reception. Guests were welcomed in with a quirky ‘Take Your Seat’ table plan, printed onto fabric instead of traditional card. Inside, the wooden tables were left uncovered, adding to the rustic-chic vibe. Sticking with a stylish gold and blush colour scheme, tables were lined with blush tapered candles in gold candlesticks and a mishmash of single stem blooms, like roses and dahlias, in individual glass vases.
Coral favour boxes and napkins sat on raffia placemats, while gold table numbers decorated with floral line drawings helped guests find their seats. Our bride and groom also framed side-by-side photos of themselves as children through the years – such a sweet touch!
All the cool wedding details
We’re all about celebrating individuality at The Hall Barns and our bride and groom made their wedding a proper personal affair. Every detail was perfectly thought through to make their wedding day one to remember (trust us, it was epic!). September barn weddings are the dream – particularly when the sun shines like it did for Jade and Grant. They made the most of the Leicestershire countryside views and outdoor space at The Hall Barns, setting up fun garden games for their guests.
During their drinks reception – featuring their very own bespoke couple cocktails, of course – a wedding illustrator was on hand to capture candid sketches of their friends and family. Talk about the coolest big day keepsakes. Wedding illustrators are going to be a huge trend for 2026 weddings – mark our words!
Instead of a traditional guest book, Jade and Grant hired this audio version for their guests to record messages to them using the retro telephone.
Other cute touches included the basket of flip flops for guests to slip on as the party kicked off and monogramed heart-shaped sunglasses for everyone. However, our favourite idea has to be the ‘help yourself’ crisp wall. A thing of beauty!
The wedding party to end all parties
The Hall Barns is the ultimate party venue, and our couple did not disappoint. Jade and Grant piled onto the dancefloor with their guests to party the night away to a live band. There was plenty of champagne popping as well as some epic dance moves. The ‘Drunk in Love’ pop-up photo booth was a fun addition for when guests needed to rest their dancing feet. What. A. Wedding.
