The rustic-chic Leicestershire barn venue

Tucked away in a beautiful corner of the Prestwold Estate and set in the heart of the Leicestershire Wolds, The Hall Barns is all about laid-back luxury. It all starts with the invites, and we love this bold, typographical wedding stationery by Bureau Design in rich olive green tones. Simple, clean and modern, it really sets the tone for a stylish celebration.

The Parlour is a unique, light and airy space for your wedding breakfast, and the addition of hanging swags of fabric just adds to the dreamy, ethereal vibe. Here, tables are dressed with diaphanous fabric runners, with the white-washed wooden tables left exposed. Voluminous floral arrangements with deep green foliage decorate each dining table, while blush pink candles in mismatched candlesticks help create a cosy feel.

There are no rules when it comes to styling your wedding day. We love the unexpected addition of glass boxes filled with fresh peaches at the end of each table. Quirky, cute and delicious; what’s not to love?

Romantic flowers for a barn wedding

Flowers and barn venues are a match made in wedding heaven. For this shoot, the vision was wild, yet modern, with that ‘just gathered from a meadow’ feel. Contrasting texture and height to add interest, table arrangements were heavy on the foliage, tapping into the olive green colour palette running throughout the day. Pretty soft pink and white flowers added a subtle pop of colour. 

The Crew Yard – our covered courtyard ceremony space – was transformed into a botanical wonderland with a huge floral and foliage arch. We think it makes the perfect focal point for exchanging vows.

Nailing the wild romance vibe, the bridal bouquet sticks to the olive green and blush pink colour scheme, with the addition of some peach and orange flowers for added wow.

The coolest bridal style

Can we take a moment for this epic bridal look? We’re obsessed with this bold, fashion-forward wedding dress, featuring plunge sides and low back. The skinny tulle veil is a fresh take on a classic. We love how it doesn’t detract from the incredible gown. 

The groom’s style is equally on point. The double-breasted suit in sandy beige, complete with blush pink tie and brown loafers, is such a perfect choice for a summer barn wedding. Excellent outfit. No notes.
