Maisie and Stuart’s rustic-chic Leicestershire barn wedding
Maisie and Stuart’s June wedding at The Hall Barns is all about those dreamy summer vibes. From the rustic-chic neutral colour scheme to the ice cream trike, we love every single detail of this super-cute, joy-filled big day. Big thanks to Helen Rose Photography for the gorgeous shots.

The morning of the wedding
Maisie stayed in Laundry Cottage – our gorgeous thatched self-catering cottage just a stone’s throw from the barn – the night before the wedding. This meant she could relax with her bridesmaids and enjoy getting ready together before the ceremony. Zero stress, plus the chance to swan about in fancy matching robes while, sipping champagne in the idyllic garden? Sounds like the perfect start to a wedding if you ask us.

We adore these cute photos of Maisie’s dad and her bridesmaids seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time. Sob!

Maisie’s boho-glam bridal style
Our bride brought some Hollywood A-lister glamour to The Hall Barns in her epic wedding dress. Featuring a plunge neckline, floaty train and covered with sparkling 3D floral appliqué, the gown felt modern and cool. Maisie wore her long hair in loose waves and carried a beautiful bridal bouquet in soft neutral shades.

Sticking with the neutral colour scheme, Stuart the groom looked incredible in his stone-coloured three-piece suit, while the bridesmaids properly wowed in one-shoulder floor-length satin dresses. Come on, how good do all these guys look?

A summer ceremony at the Crewyard
Forget about the faff of trying to arrange big day transport. Maisie and her bridesmaids hopped into our golf buggies and were chauffeured to The Hall Barns in style – one of the perks of getting ready at Laundry Cottage!

The Hall Barns’ Crewyard was the setting for Maisie and Stuart’s ceremony, which brought all the rustic-chic vibes. The ceremony space was dressed with boho-style décor, including pampas grass in brown glass vases to line the aisle. The head of the aisle was framed with an elegant swag of fabric, creating a romantic focal point for the vows. It all worked perfectly against the antique beams and exposed brickwork of the Crewyard.

Rustic-chic neutrals reception styling
Sticking with a sophisticated neutral colour scheme for the reception, Maisie and Stuart let the period beauty of The Hall Barns shine through. Tables were dressed simply with pale sage green fabric runners, crisp white linen napkins, twinkling tealights and dried grass arrangements in white vases. Fairy lights ran along the length of the barn to create a welcoming, warm and cosy feel.

Golden hour photography
There are so many things to love about The Hall Barns, and golden hour is one of them. Nothing beats our tranquil Leicestershire countryside setting as the sun begins to go down. Maisie and Stuart explored our picturesque outdoor space with their photographer Helen, to capture these awesome golden hour shots. So gorgeous.

The coolest summer party
Summer barn weddings are the best, fact. Maisie and Stuart really made the most of the sunny June weather and our countryside setting. After the ceremony, guests chilled out in the sunshine, playing garden games or relaxing under our stretch tent. During the drinks reception, our couple had an ice cream trike, complete with monographed wafers, which was a massive hit with everyone. As the sun set, the fire pits were lit, marshmallows were toasted, and Maisie and Stuart, along with their guests, hit the Crewyard dancefloor to party the night away.
